With retrospective coverage back to 1988, LexisNexis Government Periodicals Index will enable you to locate more than 125,000 articles from the governments most important periodicals. Annually, indexing is completed for approximately 10,000 articles from about 1,200 issues of more than 160 periodicals. Editors attempt to identify articles of research or general interest value. Articles of transitory interest or limited use outside the issuing agency are generally avoided, increasing the indexs value to researchers looking for relevantand enduringmaterial.
LexisNexis maintains a list of hyperlinks to government periodicals indexed within the product. Links are included for about half of the publications covered; those links are maintained regardless of whether the publication is active or inactive due to the enduring research value of the articles.
LexisNexis Government Periodicals Index is updated quarterly (March, June, September, and December). With each update, the service adds bibliographic information for approximately 2,500 articles that reflect the enormous diversity of federal interests.
